Translate with AI

Your CV in another language, in about 20 seconds

Applying abroad, or to a company that works in English? The editor translates your whole CV into any of 61 languages and saves it as a new CV next to the original, on the same template, with the same colour, font and photo.

It translates the way a CV is written in that language, not word for word, and it leaves alone everything that must not change: your name, your employers, your dates and your contact details.

How it works

Three steps, and the original stays as it is

Translation lives in the CV editor, in the "Translate" section of any CV.

  1. 1 / 3
    Open your CV

Finish the CV in the language you know best, then open the "Translate" section in the editor.

  2. 2 / 3
    Pick the language

English, German, Czech, Slovak, Polish and the other most used languages are at the top of the list.

  3. 3 / 3
    Check the new copy

The translated CV opens in the editor. Read it through, adjust what you would say differently, and download the PDF.

What stays exactly as it is

  • Your name and the names of companies and schools
  • Dates, links, e-mail, phone and the rest of your contact details
  • Tools, technologies and certificate acronyms such as SAP, Python or CPA
  • The template, colour, font, photo and the order of your sections
What is translated
  • Your headline, profile, job titles and descriptions, degrees, hobbies and your own sections
  • Skills and language levels (CEFR codes such as C1 stay as they are)
  • Section headings such as "Work experience", which follow the new language

Translating your CV: questions

Does translating change my original CV?

No. The translation is saved as a new CV next to the original, with the same template and design. You can edit both separately.

Is it a word-for-word machine translation?

No. The AI translates each text the way a CV is written in the target language and keeps the tense and style of your original. It is still worth reading the result through before you send it, especially the job titles, which differ between countries.

Can the translation add something that is not in my CV?

No. Only your own texts are translated and put back where they were, one for one. Names, companies, dates and contacts are never sent for translation, and nothing is added or dropped.

What about the section headings?

They switch automatically: a CV in German says "Berufserfahrung", in Czech "Pracovní zkušenosti". The same works when you write a CV in a language yourself.

Is translation free?

Every account can translate one CV for free. Premium translates as often as you need, within fair use.

Applying to several jobs? A CV builder, a job-match checker and a personal website cost about $90 a month together on their cheapest plans. The Job Search Pack does all of it for $29, paid once, for 30 days: clean PDFs, cover letters, the full ATS check and your own CV website. That is $1.45 per application if you send 20.
