Most "enhanced" bullets are lifted from the job ad ("enhance the customer experience") and keep its vagueness: something got better, but the reader cannot tell which part or by how much. Swap it for the literal action — added, reworked, streamlined, simplified — and name the specific change: the feature you built, the step you removed, the page you rewrote.
When you added features or capabilities: synonyms for enhanced
Added
The literal verb; name the feature and who uses it.
Extended
A product or tool made to do more than before.
Upgraded
Moved to a newer version, system or piece of hardware.
Expanded
Wider scope: more languages, locations or integrations.
Enriched
Data, content or profiles made more complete.
Enhanced the field inspection mobile app.
Added offline mode to a field-inspection app so inspectors in low-signal areas stopped losing reports; resubmissions fell from about 60 a month to 4.
When you made something read, look or work better: synonyms for enhanced
Refined
Small, deliberate changes to something that already worked.
Polished
Presentation-level work: copy, decks, interface details.
Sharpened
Messaging, positioning or a sales pitch.
Reworked
A bigger change than refined; say what changed.
Enhanced product descriptions on the website.
Reworked 320 product descriptions around the questions in support tickets; returns on those items fell from 11% to 7% the next quarter.
When you made an experience easier for customers or patients: synonyms for enhanced
Streamlined
Fewer steps; say which step went.
Simplified
Forms, policies or processes people had to get through.
Personalized
Service tailored to the person: banking, hotels, retail.
Modernized
Paper or outdated systems replaced with current ones.
Enhanced the patient check-in experience.
Streamlined check-in at a 4-chair dental practice by texting intake forms before the visit; average wait fell from 18 to 6 minutes.
Leave these in the thesaurus
"Embellished" appears as a synonym, and it means you added things that were not true, which is the last impression a resume should give.
The one thing to remember
When "enhanced" sits in front of "customer experience" or "user experience", replace the whole phrase with the metric that experience shows up in: wait time, returns, complaints or completion rate.
