Working with other people is part of nearly every job, so "collaborated with" on its own says almost nothing about you. Partnered, co-led, consulted and co-wrote are more exact, but the bigger fix is to put your part of the joint effort first — what you built, brought or decided — and mention the partner team as context.

When you worked with clients, vendors or the community: synonyms for collaborated

When you worked closely with colleagues on your own team: synonyms for collaborated

Leave these in the thesaurus
"Colluded" means working together to do wrong, and "Cooperated" sounds like a witness statement.
The one thing to remember
Rewrite "Collaborated with X to do Y" as "Did Y with X": "Collaborated with finance to build a forecast" becomes "Built the quarterly forecast with finance".
