17 synonyms, and when to use each

"Created" is a sound verb with a vague-object problem: "created reports", "created content" and "created processes" could sit on anyone's resume. Swap in the verb that says what kind of making it was — built, launched, authored, devised — and the object usually gets sharper along with it.
