"Designed" has a narrow, useful meaning: you decided how something would look or work. When it stretches to cover things you only drew up from someone else's plan, or appears on every bullet of a designer's resume, a more exact verb does better: prototyped for interfaces, engineered for technical systems, structured or devised for programs. Whichever you use, put the measurable effect of the design in the same line.

Leave these in the thesaurus
"Fashioned" sounds like needlework and "Contrived" means fake.
The one thing to remember
If you worked from a template or someone else's brief, write "adapted" or "produced" instead; interviewers ask about design decisions, and the verb has to hold up when they do.
